Rub a dub dub! and a simple tutorial

This little cutie in his tub is from Scrapmagasinet stamp set 103 Baby #2. This set has 4 sweet babies in total and an accessory stamp. If you get a chance check out the Scrapmagasinet DT blog to see what my other team members have been creating recently. I love making these little nestabilities cards and was asked recently how I made these. Here is a quckie tutorial to show you how.

For the main card first score your card in your chosen cardstock.
Then fold in half.Place near the top of the nestabilities but leave a gap so to keep the join. Run through your die cutting machine. I use a Wizard.
Cut the front panel as normal in your chosen cardstock. Mine is in blue.
Glue the front panel to main card ensuring that you line up them up at the bottom carefully.

When you turn the card around there will be a small gap of about 0.5 cms at the top. Taa daa and there you have it! You can make lots of quick fun cards with most of your nestie shapes!
My image is coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. I have added Sakura stardust to the bubbles. I applied the stardust to an acrylic block and lifted with a damp brush. The sparkles are not showing well on camera but you can see them a little in the below close-up.

The sentiment and little duck are from CC Designs - My Rubber Ducky Digi set. Nestabilities used: Square, Scalloped Square and Labels Two. I have also used an SU Slot punch to thread the ribbon. Other accessories: Lace, button brads and dew drops. I was a little clumsy and accidentally knocked off ducky's little tuft when cutting him out so improvised and added a little fibre.

Right now off for a little blog hop to see what you've all been doing.

Have a great evening,

Big Hugs,
