This week our wonderful Diva
Lacey had the fabulous below sketch for you to follow over at the
High Hopes Challenge blog. This sketch was so fun to work with - thank you Lacey!

The random winner of this weeks challenge will receive the stamp "
Fishing Santa".

If you are looking to purchase High Hopes stamps I have a great selection over in my store
Bunny Zoe's Crafts. I ship worldwide too!!!
You may notice something a little different about my colouring today? Well I have stepped totally out of my comfort zone and swapped a pencil for a brush. This is my first attempt at watercolouring with distress inks so please be kind! I have to say that I LOVE them so much.. still need lots of practice blending but I am quite chuffed with my first effort.
A HUGE thank you to my friend
Jacqui for sharing her wonderful tutorials... I recommend anyone wanting to try watercolouring to check them out!!! You can find them linked in the top right of her blog.
Here is a little about the products used today - Papers are from Basic Grey Pads Perhaps and
Indian Summer. The cute angel is
High Hopes Herald Angel and sentiment
"Let Heaven and Nature Sing!" My image is stamped in
Stazon onto Fabriano 300g/140lb Watercolour paper. My sentiment is stamped in
Versafine. The edges of my image and paper are distressed using
VersaMagic Jumbo Java. I cut the sentiment out using the SU Word Window punch.
I used pretty
white lace and my
new baby pink 4mm half back pearls. The Snowflake Punch is
Martha Stewart Artic Snowflake. This punch is currently sold out but I do have more on order.
