Yay, it's release day and also another High Hope challenge. This week Kimmie is asking us to distress our cards. Oh that one is not difficult for me as I just love to rough up the edges of my papers and one of my favourite products is my VersaMagic chalk in Jumbo Java which I use to add a little aging effect to the edges of my images.I know bugs aren't normally cute but this one sure is. Crissy has drawn the most cutest bugs in this release. I'll be back later today to add this little guys official name. I have used the great sketch 224 over at Splitcoaststampers. The papers are from the new Basic Grey Marrakech collection. The little tool brads I picked up from The Range and a bargain at 99p for 6. My image is coloured with Prismacolour pencils with sansodor and paper stumps for blending. I have also brush a little Sakura stardust onto the metal tools for a subtle shimmer.
I can't wait to check out the High Hope website myself today to find out what all the new stamps have been called. Pop on over to check them out for yourself and just type HOTP in the search box on the Online Catalogue tab.
Wow, I have been super busy this week and am nearly prepared for the Pink Cat Studio sneak peaks which start on Tuesday.

I have to agree this little ant is adoreable!!!! You did sucha great job of coloring him in Nikki and the great accessories you used are blowing me away!!!!
