This week over at A Spoon Full of Sugar we are asking you to add some texture to your cards. This could be lace, fibres, fun flock, embossing, sandpaper.. anything touchy feely!
This is my favourite image from the new High Hopes release and for anyone out there who doesn't know... ;-) this image was named after my 4 year old Danni - Danni Dress up! The sentiment is also from the new release. I just love the expression on her face when she has been caught raiding her Mummy's wardrobe!
My image is coloured in a mixture of copic sketch markers and Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps for blending. The pretty papers are BG Perhaps and were a gift from my kind friend Jill along with the brad used in the centre of the flower. I added some fun flock, lace and crochet flower for my touchy effect. This is the first time I have used fun flock and not sure if I am happy with the results. If anyone can give me some tips on the best way to apply it I'd appreciate it!
Our wonderful sponsor this week is Bryony from Silly Monkey Crafts. She has kindly donated the below cute Greeting's Farm stamp "Geisha Anya".
Hope you can join in our challenge this week and be sure to check out the gorgeous cards from the talented Design Team!
Before I go I just wanted to thank Lena for the above award. Thank you so much and I am so honored to receive this from a talent such as yourself! If you haven't visited Lena's blog before it's a must!
