Baking Ginger

Wow it's been such a long time since I created a card... although very rusty I had so much fun colouring this sweet new stamp High Hopes Baking Ginger by the fabulous Artist Dustin Pike. I really must get back to creating a little more regularly!

My card was created using Debbie's great sketch over at our our Bunny Zoe's Craft Challenge blog. Don't forget that each month one lucky player has the chance to win a £25 Gift Certificate!

Ginger was coloured with Prismacolor Pencils using paper stumps and Odourless White Spirit to blend. The cute paper is from the Whiff of Joy Winter Pretties Paper Pad (her little dress was paper pieced with some leftover scraps). Other items used... 4mm flat backed Pearls, 4mm Heart Pearls, Tangerine Pom Pom Ribbon and dark pink raffia lace.

Be sure to pop on over to the High Hopes blog to join in their fun Blog Hop... and check out all the wonderful samples from the awesome Diva's for the new release today!

All the new stamps are now available to purchase at Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Tags

Well it's been a little while since I had some creation time but I managed to have a little play during half-term for our challenge today over at A Spoon Full of Sugar. This week the lovely Ingrid is asking you to create a tag... or to incorporate a tag somewhere on your card.

I used the adorable High Hopes stamp Peeking Kitty with sentiment "Cat's Meow". For a change I dusted off my Prismacolor pencils and used paper stumps and odourless white spirit to blend. I stamped kitty twice and the second time just coloured her paws so I could cut them out and pop them back on after adding the fence. The fence was cut using Martha Stewart punch edger fence. The pretty die cut behind the image is Marianne D Creatable Doily. I also added a little jute for added texture. The jute is now available in 7 colours over in my store. To finish I added a little stardust stickles to birdie's flower.

My tag also fits the current High Hopes Challenge where Debby is asking you to create for a females birthday. Still lots of time to play along!

As well as tons of inspiration from the High Hopes designers be sure to check out the awesome tutorials... this week Karen is showing you how to create a Paper Toil Flower.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Make a wish!

Can you believe this fun little High Hopes Tutu Fairy has been sitting around coloured since Sunday? It's been a crazy week and I only just managed to pop my card together late last night.

The week started with a drama as poor Zoe fell over a ball in our kitchen and broke her arm... some news from Portugal in that my Nan was in hospital with double pneumonia. Thankfully she is now home recovering and then a high in that Gary started a new job Wednesday. It's only 3 nights a week and totally different from work that he has done before... but it's a job!

My card is for our Birthday Challenge over at the High Hopes blog and also A Spoon Full of Sugar where this week we are asking you to get Punchy! You can use dies or punches on your card. Both these challenge are open until late Monday so still plenty of time to play along!!!

My High Hopes Tutu Fairy by artist Dustin Pike has been coloured with Copic Markers. The Make a Wish! Sentiment is also High Hopes. I added a little stardust stickles to her skirt, wand and hairbands. The papers are MME but I can't remember which pack I pulled them from. I used a gorgeous Monarch Flower Center in the larger flower.

Hope you can play along with us at both challenges and as always if you do you could win a prize!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Boo!!!

I created my card today for two challenges. The first over at A Spoon Full of Sugar where Michelle's topic is called Boo!!! Well of course I had to ink up this fun stamp High Hopes Boo Crew Border and Boo Crew sentiment. Also our challenge today over at the High Hopes blog is hosted by Amy who has a great recipe. Amy is asking us to use 2 squares, 1 circle and a scalloped border on our cards. I added two squares with the dotty paper, a button for my circle and my rectangle has a scalloped edge as well as the scallop on the bottom of my card. My Boo Crew is coloured with copic sketch markers and a little Prismacolor pencil.

ALL Halloween stamps are currently on special in my store at 25%!!!!

Be sure to check out both challenges to admire the cards and projects from these talented teams!!! Of course you'll want to play along to have a chance at winning some great prizes!!!

Have a great Tuesday!

I created the above card using the sweet image High Hopes Angel Bear Pumpkin Costume with sentiment Boo-tiful Day for three challenges this week:-)

The first being our new High Hopes Challenge where this week our wonderful Diva Debby is asking you to get creative using Spots or Dots... Not only did I use Spotty Paper from Kaisercraft Hippy Girl and Bo Bunny but used the Spots and Dot and also Polka Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folders... and some spotty ribbon too!

This week we not only have 1 but 3 High Hopes stamps of your choice up for grabs!!!

The 2nd is A Spoon Full of Sugar where this week the challenge is Autumn Colours. This theme has been chosen by my pal Maria.

High Hopes - It's a girl... It's a boy!

It's Sunday so a new High Hopes challenge today! This week Jeanne is asking us to make a card for a girl... or boy... it doesn't have to be a baby card either!

I chose the sweet stamp Cuddle Cloud baby for my card. Not the traditional baby colours but I thought this paper from the new Cosmo Cricket Paper Pad Pixie-Licious would go well and the design is so cute! Baby is coloured with Copic Markers with a little Prisma pencil... a little dab of Stickles stardust on the stars and dots too. I also used some of the new web ribbon. I love this ribbon as it reminds me of the Sisal effect but is softer and easier to use.

If your looking to purchase High Hopes Rubber Stamps I now have 355 Stamps/Accessories/Sentiments in my store including all the new release!!!

Be sure to check out the gorgeous samples from the rest of the High Hopes team.... We hope you can play along with us too and remember that each challenge you have the chance to win a High Hopes stamp of your choice!!!

My girls go back to school on Wednesday and Zoe and I have one last outing planned tomorrow. We are going to Madam Tussauds and then to Leicester Square so should be fun!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

High Hopes Sneak Peek Day 1

Morning... hope you had a wonderful weekend and if your in the UK still enjoying the bank holiday!!! Our sneak peeks begin today sharing the wonderful art from High Hopes new artist Laurie Furnell!!!!

As soon as I saw this adorable image Sweet Lili Mouse stamp I knew she would be perfect for Zoe's Lunch bag tag. You may remember the tags I created for the girls last year which you can see here. The Identity tags can be picked up at your local stationary store. I replaced the clip this year with a book ring so it would be more secure.

Sweet Lili Mouse has been coloured with Copic Markers with a little Primsa Pencil. A very simple project but I am pleased with how it came out and Zoe loves it... Just need to make another 3 now... 1 for Danni's lunch bag and 1 each for the girls school bags! Just a few last minute bits of uniform to grab but I have most of their stuff ready for next Wednesday.

Be sure to check out the High Hopes blog for links to Design Team so you can check out their fabulous sneaks..... plus a chance to win a package bursting with new release stamps!!!!!

See you tomorrow!!!

High Hopes Challenge - Water

I can't believe this month is going so quickly and just over 3 weeks and the girls will be back at school... time to start thinking about buying their new uniform... I hate that it is in the stores before they have even finished for Summer but better not leave it too late!

Ok, back to my card which is for this weeks new High Hopes Challenge. Our topic this week is water so I coloured up a Dustin Pike Image - Mer-Cat. The bright papers are from the Paper Pad SEI Jocelyn.. oh I love these wacky colours! My Mer-Kitty is coloured with Copic Markers and then a little Prismacolor Pencil to finish. I added a little stickles stardust.

Hope you can play along with us... remember each challenge you get the chance to win a High Hopes stamp of your choice! If your looking to purchase High Hopes Rubber Stamps I have a great selection in my store.

Have a great evening!

High Hopes Challenge - Use your favourite Embellishment

We're back from our Summer break and raring to go! Our new challenge over at the High Hopes blog has just started and this week we are asking you to use your favourite embellishment. A nice and easy challenge so a great excuse to ink up your favourite HH stamps too!

I am sure you know that my favourite embellishment is my flat back pearls... I can't remember the last card I made when I didn't use them! lol I also used two of my favourite Martha Stewart Punches - Classic Butterfly and Heart Lace Edger.

The sweet image is Puppy Love Frame. This stamp is so versatile and I inked up the images without his frame. My puppy is stamped in Memento onto Concord Record card and coloured with Prismcolor Pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend... also adding my favourite stickles Star Dust. The papers are Basic Grey Green at Heart. Do you love the pretty frame...? this is Nellie's Choice Die - Multi round. All items in orange can be found in my store including tons more High Hopes Stamps!!!

Hope you can play along with us and remember each challenge you have the chance of winning a fabulous High Hopes stamp of your choice! Be sure to pop over to the blog for oodles of inspiration from the rest of the team!

Also I just wanted to mention that for all you Tilda fans there is a new challenge over at the Totally Tilda Challenge blog. I can't wait to play along with this one!

Have a wonderful Sunday!
