Sorry for my absence this week... but i'm back for my favourite challenge... Sunday's High Hopes Challenge of course! It's been a busy week and Danni had a great birthday. Thank you to everyone who left birthday wishes on my last post. She was also so lucky and had chicken pox very mildly with only about 12 spots in total and only two on her face.
Right now onto the challenge... this week the very talented Crissy is asking us to do some piercing on our cards. If you don't have a piercing tool as I don't you could use your sewing machine. Once I had used my sewing machine I then used a large sewing needle to make the holes slightly bigger.
On my card this week I have used the adorable Farm Kids, Bobby Lee and Ally Rose!!! These are part of April's Project of the Month.
Here are all the details:
L-041 Bobby Lee $10.00
L-042 Ally Rose $10.00
M-046 Bale O' Hay $10.70
E-161 Take A Break $6.00
F-167 Sit A Spell $6.70
The regular price for all these stamps would be $43.40CDN woodmounted but for the month of April only you can get them on sale for 25% Off which means $32.55CDN wood mounted or $16.25CDN unmounted!! What a saving!!
Until this special is up on the High Hopes website, you can order by emailing Tina and Bethany directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
Papers used on my card today are Basic Grey Marrakech. I really love the colours in this set. I have used SU punches - 5 Petal Flower and Photo corners. Images coloured with in Copic sketch marker for skin and Prismcolour Pencils with Sansodor and paper stumps to blend for the rest of the images.
Happy Easter and hope your having a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend! I'll be back again Tuesday with the next A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge and also the new Scrapmagasinet Sketch challenge.
