It's my brother Joe's 21st Birthday next week. I know he would probably love any card I made him but is Disney mad (and I mean crazy mad ;-) ha ha) so knew I should dust off my Cricut Expression to make his card. I have used the Mickey and Friends Cartridge and also Mickey's Font. My poor machine doesn't get the love it deserves so I must make more of an effort to use it as there are so many great cuts that can be combined with stamping. I added his initial using a charm cut from the font cartridge and then added some stickles. I also added some sparkle to the 21st too. I found the ribbon in my stash and it reminded me of film on a reel. I wanted the balloon strings to stand ridged so had some bright paper clips which I straightened out. The balloons were cut from the George cartridge and then run through the Cuttle bug using embossing folder Spot and dots.
I've been busy working away getting ready for Tuesday's Pink Cat Sneak peaks. I'll be back now on Sunday for the next High Hopes Challenge but promise I will be bombarding you next week! Before I go I just wanted to thank you all for keeping us in your thoughts regarding Gary's work situation. There is a little light at the end of the tunnel but we probably won't know anything for another 3 weeks.. Keep those fingers tightly crossed!

This is fabulous Nikki, your brother will be delighted with it. I know what you mean about the cricut - I used mine for the first time for ages to make a tag at the weekend and said to myself, just like you - I must use this more often.
