Magnolia Heart Patch Tilda

I decided I needed to do a Magnolia scene card. Stamps used - Magnolia Heart Patch Tilda, Tree with Carved Heart, Tilda's bird & Kithen Bench. The flowers were Habico stamps and the Ladybird and grass were Studio G stamps. The sun was printed from the PcCrafter trial images. The sentiment was printed on my computer then the shape cut using my cuttlebug. The scalloped orange backing was acheiveved by wielding two scalloped cards from the Christmas Cheer cartridge and cutting on my Cricut. Coloured mainly with my prisma pencils with the use of sansador and stumps to blend. Also used copics, prisma markers and Sakura pens. The background is coloured pale sky blue but this didn't show too well in the photo. The tree trunk was stamped onto Basic grey paper. I am pleased with how this turned out and as you can probably guess I love bright colours! Nikki x

High Hopes Mary J Teacher

I know it is still a few months until the kids break up for Summer but I just had to use these great stamps from High Hopes to make a card for Zoe's teacher. This teacher set is High Hopes March monthly special. Stamps used: Q-037 Mary J Teacher Angel, T-049 Teachers Desk, J-068 School Background & E-126 Believe. Other stamps not included in this offer which I have used are: 3 Star Corner and School Background. The papers I have used are from the Infuse Collection by basic grey. I cut around the Teachers desk and mounted it onto two different colour papers used for the floor and walls. I stamped the Blue frame paper with the School Background (ABC, 123, Apple, Pencil, Ruler). I used my Cricut to cut the frame for the scene. I coloured Mary J and the rest of the scene with my Prismacolour pencils with the use of Sansador and stumps for blending. I kept the board white as Zoe informed me that they use interactive whiteboards now! Mary J's wings are outlined with the silver prismacolour pencil then coloured with my Sakura stardust pen. The wings are more blingy in real life but this didn't photo well. Mary J has been added to the card using foam pads. Hope you like it!
