Remember a couple of day ago I told you about the LOVE My Pink Cat Stamps – DT Challenge hosted by my DT pal Janna Hull.

Here are the full details from Janna:

Challenge Description:
Since Valentine's Day is coming up fast, I have a LOVE themed Challenge for you! But this isn't any old love themed challenge, this is a special one! My challenge for you is to create a card or project with at least four elements (you can have more if you would like), but four of your elements have to spell LOVE. For example, you can use Layers, Ovals, Violet, and Embellishments; see spells LOVE. Or you could use Lily, Owls, Very pretty sequins and Emerald brads. Spells LOVE. The possibilities are endless and yes, V can stand for very! Just remember that four of your elements must spell LOVE. Have Fun, can't wait to see what you come up with!

Date the challenge ends:
Tuesday February 10th, 5 pm EST

Requirements:

A Pink Cat Studio stamp must be used as the main stamp on the card or project. It is okay to use stamps from other companies as well. Your entry can be a card or any type of 3D project.

To be eligible for the prize you must upload your card before the deadline to your PaperCraftPlanet gallery and include the tag PCSDTC1. You may enter only 1 project for this challenge.

If you have questions about this challenge, please post them in the challenge discussion thread in the Pink Cat Studio group on Paper Craft Planet. Here is a link to the group: http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/pinkcatstudiolilyandbillylovers

Prize:

On February 11th, a winner will be chosen by a random draw from all of the challenge participants. The winner will receive a grab bag of Pink Cat Studio stamps. The winner will be announced in the PCP challenge discussion thread and on the Pink Cat Studio blog. Some cards from the challenge will be displayed on the PCS blog and all entries will go into the PCP gallery.

I have made a photo card for this challenge. I would like to thank Donna (Atty) for giving me this idea as I see a fabulous photo card she had made over at her Christmas Challenge blog which she runs with her friend Barb.

So the elements for my card are :

Lily with Billy from the new Sweethearts stamps
Oval
Valentines
Embellishments or Eeek I could have found a better photo! lol (see below). I can't believe that I have 7 years of photographs on our computer and not one photo of hubbie and I together on our own! The nearest I found had Mickey Mouse with us - suppose I could have tried and Photoshopped him out! I scanned this one which was taken in Seaworld from our holiday last year - hence the screwed up faces!

The gorgeous papers are Basis Grey Bittersweet and beautiful Hydrangea Prima flowers are from Roses on Paper.

Before I go I would like to thank Katy for the above award. Thank you sweetie and you have spoilt me this week!

Have a great Friday!

Hugs,

Photo Challenge

I have been tagged by my friends Heidi and Renata. I think I may have been given this challenge by a few others so please accept my apologies if I haven't mentioned you.

The rules for this challenge are - Go to where you store your photos on your computer. Go to the SIXTH folder and pick the SIXTH photo. Post that photo on your blog along with a SHORT story about it. Tag SIX people and leave a comment on their blog or email them letting them know you chose them.

We started logging our digital pictures in 2002 so my 6th folder took me to 2007 and and then the month of June. The above picture was of me and one of my best mates Mandy at a hen night. I couldn't actually show you my sixth picture as it was a picture of me and an Italian waiter! lol I don't think hubbie would have been best pleased!

Now I tag my friends:

Heidi
Kelly
Karin
Agnes
Debbie
Jakki

Sorry ladies if you have already been tagged so feel free to ignore this!

Hugs,

Ok then.. here was the actual sixth picture! he he!!

A bit late.. he he!

This was supposed to be my card for this weeks A Spoon Full of Sugar where our topic is "Love is in the Air". I wasn't feeling too good on Sunday and Monday.. nothing major.. just full of cold again! so didn't feel up to being creative. Luckily I had decorated the little kitty gift containers last week so I had something to show you! The cute dragon is High Hopes Matchmakin' Maynard and is available to buy along with tons of High Hopes stamps from Silly Monkey Crafts. The gorgeous papers I used recently are Fiskars Cloud9 - Beloved. I would like to thank a special friend for buying my new Martha Stewart heart edge punch.. Thank you so much sweetie! I have used the mini heart cuttings from the punch to create the sparkly heart on the front and also to decorate the inside.

Inside view
- ok I know I am no Rach or Bev but I did try decorating the inside ;-) Plus it was another excuse to use my new punch!

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 36 - Love is in the Air!

Our challenge this week at A Spoon Full of Sugar is to create a card or gift for someone special. A perfect time to make a Valentines card or maybe to spoil a special friend with a card or gift. I have decorated two SU Rhinestone brad containers to send to a couple of special friends. I have used the cute new release Pink Cat - Kiki Kitty. I realised looking back that I am not very creative when it comes to colouring my Kitty. So far they have been mainly grey and I wonder if that is because our cat Gemma is grey! For a little change today we also have a ginger cat!

I stamped Kiki and then cut her out using the circle nestabilities. I then masked Kiki and copic airbrushed the background while the circle was still inside the nestability. This then leaves the white edging.

We have a fabulous prize this week of the gorgeous Greeting Farm Stamp "Princess Anya" which has been kindly donated by Bryony owner of Silly Monkey Crafts.

We have another fabulous Guest Designer joining us this week - Marte. If you get time please check out Marte's blog as her work is beautiful.

I have been spoilt again with lots of awards.

Thank you Christelle for the above awards. Christelle is a good friend of mine who has only recently started her blog. If you get time please pop over and pay her a visit as her work is beautiful. Her very talented daughter Honorine also has a new blog.

I received the above award from Nicole.

The above award has been given to me by Suzzane.

The above award was given to me by Alex and Justine.

Thank you to you all! I am sorry I have not been passing these on but please know they are greatly appreciated!

Before I go I wanted to let you know that a new Pink Cat challenge starts today over at Paper Craft Planet. The LOVE My Pink Cat Stamps DT Challenge is hosted by the very talented Janna Hull. High Hopes Challenge 15 - Hearts!

Today we have a great challenge for you at the High Hopes blog and Janette is asking us to make a card or project incorporating hearts somewhere. A perfect challenge to make your loved one a Valentines card! Don't forget that each week if you join our challenge you have a chance of winning a yummy High Hopes stamp and sentiment!

I've kept my card very simple this week and had fun playing with my nestabilites. As you can see I haven't gone for traditional valentines colours as I was influenced by these bright wooden hearts which I found in Hobby Craft.

Don't you just love Kissy Face Frog puckering up ready and waiting for her smacker! I just love the fun "Not a Geek" sentiment which I've stamped on the inside.

Hello Cupcake!

Here is a card I made for fun using the cute Kiki Kity "Hello Cupcake". I am so in love with this kitty cat! The little cupcakes were cut from some paper in Zoe's Forever Friend paper pad. She's always pinching Mum's stash so thought it was about time I raided hers.. lol. The Basic Grey paper is called "Cupcake" and was just perfect for this card. I just love this sprinkles paper. To create the background behind Kitty I masked her then used my copic airbrushed - Yay my new can of air arrived!

See below for all products used on my card.

If you get time please visit the Pink Cat Studio blog to see lots of gorgeous cards from my DT friends using the new release stamps.

I have been so lucky to receive some awards over the last couple of days.

The first is from Chris. Chris's blog is quite new to me but you have to check her blog out.. her work is stunning!

I also received the above award from sweet Holly. Holly is four years old and just loves making cards with her Mum. Pop over to her blog to see her beautiful creations. She has the cutest school picture on her blog and this always makes me smile when I go to visit.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge - Oh Baby!

Over at a A Spoon Full of Sugar this week we are asking you to make a Baby card. Now we understand this is something we don't all need to make so maybe you could make a card for a Mum to be, new Mum or Pre-schooler.

We have the above fabulous prize this week which has very kindly been donated by Lori from Scrappopotomus.

I have gone with the Pre-schooler option and made the above card for my niece who will be 4 in March. I have been dying to ink this new stamp which I got for Christmas. Isn't she gorgeous and is called Mermaid Anya. This stamp is from The Greeting Farm. I have also used one of my favourite HH sentiments. She has been coloured with a mixture of Copic sketch markers and Prismacolor pencils. I have paper pieced her outfit with the dp used on my card. I added a little stickles for some added sparkle. The gorgeous papers are Brenda Walton's Speciality for K&Company. The punches used are SU ticket punch and Martha Stewart embossed Zig Zag.

We have a great Guest Designer this week... Debbie - Passion for Crafts. I am a huge fan of Debbie's gorgeous work and if you haven't come across her blog before you must click the link! Thank you so much Debbie for your sweet comment on your blog and for all the wonderful awards you passed to me. It was such a lovely surprise yesterday!

Thank you to my dear friend Jakki for sending me the above gorgeous card. Jakki has been using lots of The Greeting Farm stamps recently and rocks them! If you get time do check out her blog!

I would like to thank sweet Heike for the above award.. you really spoil me!

The above award was given to me by a very talented 12 year old called Georgia. Her creations are beautiful and she has the most cutest blog header too! Please go and visit her and say hello if you have time.

After my busy week I will now slow down my posts so see you in a couple of days with my High Hopes POTM.

Hugs,
