A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 45 - Sketch by Lim

For our Challenge this week we have a fabulous sketch for you to follow which has been designed by our very talented Lim.

We have a great prize this week of the below stamps - Rainy Day Emma and Baseball Connor. These have been kindly donated by Denise from Whimsy stamps.
Our Guest Designer this week is Debby. I love Debby's work! Please do take time to go and visit her. Her blog is bursting with inspiration!

For my card this week I have used a new Hanglar. The sweet papers are Daisy Bucket - Perfect Harmony. I found this cute little birdhouse button in my stash which I had picked up at Ally Pally last year. Image coloured with Prisma colour Pencils with Sansodor and paper stumps to blend. The sentiment was printed via Word onto an off white Bazzill. The tabs to the bottom left of my card were cut using the SU Word Window punch. The flower have been created using SU Petal punch. I think that's it!

Hope you find the time to join in our challenge this week.

High Hopes Challenge 24 - Creative Borders

We have a great challenge this week over at the High Hopes blog and Ila is asking us to get creative with our borders. I have used this fabulous sketch by Claudia over at Friday Sketchers - thanks Claudia! I used my SU Scallop punch for the border of my card. I also used some doodlebug paper frills as the main strip on the sketch and also for the grass. The cutesy papers are by Imaginisce and is from their "For Peeps Sake" collection. The adorable image is She-Baa Sheep with her little Easter Basket. The Egg-stra Special sentiment is also High Hopes. I have stamped and cut the sentiment out using the SU Word Window punch. Other punches used are SU Photo Corner punch. The paper is glittered so I added some more stickles to my images too. All images coloured with Prismacolour Pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend.

Check out the challenge blog to admire all the gorgeous cards from my team members this week. Don't forget that also each week you have the chance of winning a great stamp prize for taking part!

I received the above award from Sarah-Jane. Thank you so much sweetie!

Hope you have a great Sunday!

Another cutie pie!

I managed to get some time to play this afternoon in between my friend coming for coffee and then my in-laws popping over with the girls cousin Millie :-) Danni and Millie had loads of fun playing dress-up and I lost count of the number of costume changes they had!

Anyway.. onto my card...here is another cutie from the new release Sweet Pea Plate 2 collection. I was so excited when looking through my papers and found these little giraffe's playing. I knew my PCS Giraffe would want to play too! The colours also really attracted me. They are from a baby stack by Dovecraft. The embossed border is created using CB Embossing folder "Frills". I am ashamed to say I've had these a while now but will get them out more as I love the effect.

I thought it would be fun to add some fibres to my giraffe's tail and also as babies hair. My hubbie asked if I had been down the plug hole when he see baby...Yuck! Er no! Men hey! Did give me a giggle though!

Image coloured with Prismacolor Pencils, sansodor and paper stumps to blend. The cute little yellow stars are from Silly Monkey Crafts.

Just a quick post tonight but before I go I just want to thank Michele for the above cute award.

Also Sue for this pretty one too :-) Thank you so much ladies and do pop over to their blogs to say "hi" and check out their inspirational work.

Have a great evening and see you Sunday now for the new High Hopes challenge. Right off to see what you've all been upto now ;-)

Hugs,

Pink Cat Sneak Peak Day 1 - Dress up Baby Sweet Pea

Yay, It's Pink Cat Studio Sneak Peak Day 1! I can finally show you what I have been working on over the last few weeks. This adorable little guy and sweet accessories are part of the new Dress up baby stamp set which you can order on Thursday! I had the idea to make a little washing line for baby's clothes using some Lolly sticks and string. The little pegs and peg flowers I picked up in Hobbycraft. I added the button centres to the flowers for a little more interest. The cute little bee's buzzing around in the garden are also from this great new set. The papers used for this card are from Imaginisce Baby Powder collection. The grass is from Doodlebug paper frills.

Here are a few close-ups:

For my second project I wanted to make a Scrapbook page for both my girls. I also thought it would be great to add their little hospital bands. This picture was the first taken of my now 3 year old daughter Danni taken in the delivery room. I paper pieced my sweet baby image to match the rest of my layout. Also gave her some cute furry bear ears and a rattle. The papers are from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby girl stack. I picked up the 6" x 6" box frame in The Range for £3.99 and painted with medium oak wood stain. I removed the glass from my frame to get a good photo. Danni's name was cut on my Cricut using the Mickey font cartridge. I'll be showing you my Zoe frame very soon.

Close-up of this little cutie pie:

I'm so excited to see what my other talented team members have created for the sneaks. Here are the links so you can check them out too :-) Also we have a wonderful and very talented Guest joining us this month - Sparkle Smith! See you tomorrow for some other adorable sneaks.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 44 "Easter"

For our challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar this week we are asking you to get creating for Easter. I have made a simple card today using the largest scalloped square nestabilities. I think it turned out real sweet though. I cut the green dotty paper using this nestabilitie. I then folded a piece of white card stock in half and the cut with this die again but didn't go right to the top edge so you keep the join to get the main card shape. I then stuck the green dotty dp to the front of my card matching up the edges carefully.

The cute little characters are from the High Hopes Three pane Easter stamp. I stamped sweet bunny again to create my fourth pane. The gorgeous papers are from the DCWV Nana Nursery Baby Girl stack. To finish I added the little flower gem and pearl to Baa Baa.

We have a great prize this week of the below gift voucher which has very kindly been donated by Bryony from Silly Monkey Crafts. Thank you Bryony!

Our wonderful and talented Guest Designer this week is Becky. Please pop over to Becky's blog to say hello. Be sure to also check out the gorgeous creations on the challenge blog from the rest of the fabulous team!

If this is your first visit to my blog today be sure to check out my two earlier posts.. Wow, I've been a busy bee :-)

Scrapmagasinet Reader Challenge 9

For our Reader Challenge this week over at the Scrapmagasinet DT blog we are asking you to use the colour combination Green and Purple. I knew straight away that I would pull out my Basic Grey Euphoria papers. The gorgeous stamp is Rackle Sommer 5". My friend Jakki sent me the SU slot punch as a gift - thank you sweetie! I got the idea to add the ribbon after admiring the card which my friend Crissy had sent Zoe for her birthday. I added a pin to the ribbon with a charm like on the card Renata had sent me. Thank you girls for such great inspiration! The sentiment is from SU set "Simply Said". Don't forget that you can order your SU goodies with me :-)

Lisbet the owner of Scrapmagasinet very kindly sent me the below cute personalised stamp to use on the back of my card. She has a fantastic selection of personalised stamps over in her store which you have to check out! Be sure to also check out the Scrapmagasinet DT blog to admire my DT buddies creations!

I liked the layout of my card so made a sketch which you may like to use. I have also put this onto my sketch blog if you would like to use this sketch or any others at a later date.

See you very soon with my Pink Cat Studio Sneak peaks :-)

High Hopes Challenge 23 - Buttons!

We have a great challenge this week over at the High Hopes blog and Niki is asking us to use buttons on our cards... I just love buttons and I know I haven't been very creative with them on my card today but I do like to use them on the corners of my images or as the centres for my flowers.

As it's Mother's Day here in the UK today I thought it only appropriate that I use this adorable stamp Busy Mama and the very apt sentiment "Grey Hares!". I am just loving the colours from the new Basic Grey Marrakech papers. My image is coloured with Prismacolor pencils with Sansodor and paper stumps to blend.

Before I go I thought i'd share this picture with you of my gorgeous daughter Danni taken when she got home from Nursery on Friday. Here she is showing the Mother's Day card she made.

Hope you have a wonderful Mothering Sunday!

Thank you!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to my wonderful friends Jakki and Renata. They both sent me a RAK to cheer me up after hearing about Gary's job. Jakki's arrived over a week ago so I have already put her goodies away but she sent me loads of wonderful ribbons, images, a SU punch i've wanted and the below pretty tag. Renata also sent me a gorgeous package containing a beautiful card, cute stamp, ribbons and flowers. Thank you both for brightening my day - It really means so much! You are both the best!

From Jakki:

From Renata:

The weather is so glorious today and it's so great that the girls can play out in the garden. They are both over excited as they are off to their cousin Millie's Pirate Birthday party later.

Thank you for all the messages I have received on my posts over the last couple of weeks. It is still an unsettling time as Gary still hasn't had any news. Will keep you posted.

Big Hugs,
