Spoon Full and Scrapmagasinet

This week over at A Spoon Full of Sugar the wonderful Karen has a recipe for you - 3 Pieces of DP, 1 Piece of Ribbon, 3 flowers and 3 buttons. I was short of time this week so was lucky that I could also get this recipe to fit Heather's fabulous sketch over at the Scrapmagasinet DT blog :-)

As always both challenges lots of inspiration from the designers so be sure to check them out!

The image on my card is from a sweet little baby set by Scrapmagasinet. This little set is great value and you get 5 main images. My image is stamped in Memento and coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. I added some stickle sparkle to the bubbles. The papers are from the DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Boy Stack. I have both the boy and girl stacks in handy 6x6 pads over in my store. 18 of the sheets are glittered and lots of the designs are perfect for non-baby cards too!

Isn't this little rubber ducky charm so sweet? I have tons of different charms, spacers, bead caps, pins, chains and jump rings in stock! I am expecting further stock toward the end of this week too.

Be back in a couple of days when I have some fabulous news to share!

Hugs,

A Christmas colour combo :-)

Our challenge this week over at A Spoon Full of Sugar was picked by our talented designer Camilla. Camilla has challenged us to a colour combo... with a twist! You have to have brown as your basic colour, then you can choose either pink or blue to go with the brown. As you can see I went for the brown and blue option but just couldn't help myself by adding a little pink too ;-)

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Denise from Whimsy stamps. One lucky player this week will win one of the new Crissy armstrong stamps which was released at the beginning of the month - Jolly Puppy Kisses.

My card is also for our challenge over at the Scrapmagasinet DT blog where our topic is all about Christmas. A nice easy challenge so no excuses not to join in :-) You don't own any Scrapmagasinet stamps.? I have a great selection in my store.

You won't want to miss out on entering our challenge this week anyway as you could win the cool set Girl Power!!!. I love this set!!!

Ok, I couldn't help myself and my card is also using Jeanette's fabulous sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers!!!

You're Snow Fabulous!

Our new challenge has just started over at the Scrapmagasinet DT blog and Heather has a wonderful sketch for us to follow. Heather's sketches are great to work with and I love all the layering she adds... thanks Heather!!!

One lucky player this challenge will win a whole set of below cute new angel stamps. These would be super cute on vintage style creations.

Lisbet has a great selection of fun Christmas stamps like the one used on my card today. You can check them out in my store here. The gorgeous papers are Basic Grey Wassail and I have inked the edges and the edge of my image with VersaMagic Chalk Jumbo Java. The sentiment is free from the Pink Cat Studio Digi Store which I picked up when purchasing a digi a couple of days ago. I printed this out onto the Wassail paper and then used a nestabilities labels 9 to cut it out. The cute little buttons are Tiny Victorian. Again I have used my SU Snowflake punch and Martha Stewart Artic Snowflake punch. I added 4mm white half back pearls to the centers. My image is coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. Added texture to my image with Polar white flower soft and chunky glitter.

Be sure to come on over to the Scrapmagasinet blog to admire Heather and Wenches gorgeous samples.. they have used some fun images too!

Krilla is coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. The fabulous papers are K&Company. The trick or treat sentiment is from a Lizzie Anne Designs set. Goth Christmas

Ok, something a little different to show you today... and shockers.. yep... no colouring!!! This is my card for this week Scrapmagasinet DT Challenge where Heather has another awesome sketch for you to follow. There is also a fabulous prize for one lucky player.

The image used on my card is from the Pre-order set "Goth Christmas". The sentiment is also from this set. Goth Christmas is currently on special over in my store. The inspiration for the style of my card came from my talented friend Kristine. Kristine's card is here. Papers used are DCWV La Creme. I added snowflake charms to the flowers using jump rings. The edges of my image have been distressed using VersaMagic Jumbo Java and I finished by adding a tiny splash of stickles to her bell and collar.

My latest Pink Cat Studio delivery arrived today. You'll have to wait until next Wednesday to see the new release set ;-) I have some great stamps for Christmas - Lily and Billy Winter, Cat Plate 1, Christmas Kitty and also the very cute Lily and Tweet.

Danni starts Reception tomorrow... wow, I am sure many of you will remember this time last year when I posted she was starting nursery. I am hoping my little babe won't be too camera shy so I can show you a picture of her tomorrow in her uniform.

Me and the girls had a moment earlier this evening - where were you Gary? We were in the bathroom while the girls were brushing their teeth ready for bed when... a huge.. and I mean HUGE spider come running along the hallway towards us... Well it must have looked so funny as all 3 of us jumped in the bath screaming!!! I am surprised our neighbour didn't knock to check we were ok ;-) This is my second encounter today!!!

I haven't had time to create for this weeks Spoon Full of Sugar as I have been busy with my store but be sure to pop over as Michelle has a great sketch for you.

On my card today I have used an image from the digital set My Furriest Friends. If you prefer your rubber I have a set on a special pre-order now which includes this fun stamp.

My image is coloured with a mixture of copics and prismacolour pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. Most of the papers are from the new Basic Grey Lemonade paper pad. Ok, now I have some fantastic news! Most of you know that my husband Gary was made redundant at the beginning of May. Well we got news last night that he is to start work with a new company soon. This is such a relief for our family.

I would like to apologise to my friends for not visiting your blogs at the moment. The girls are on their school holidays until early September so I am limited to my computer time. I will be back visiting my favourite blogs real soon.

Hugs,
