A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 18 - "So Charming"

Thank you to everyone who entered a card into our challenge last week over at "A Spoon Full of Sugar". It has been so lovely to visit your blogs and see all your wonderful creations.

Our challenge this week is for you to make a card using either - a "charming character" or "charms".

We have a fabulous prize this week (see below) of a CC Design "Wintertime Fun" Stamp kit which has been very kindly donated by Bryony from Silly Monkey Crafts. This cute little set comes in a metal storage tin. Silly Monkey crafts have some great new products in stock including lots of gorgeous CherryArte Papers and CC Design stamps.

For my card this week I have used this cute Penny Black Kitty which was sent to me by Fran - Thank you! You have probably noticed by now that I use lots of images with cats on - cat mad me! Do you like my sentiment which I printed from word? I thought it was so appropriate for this cute character. I would also like to thank Deb for inspiring me and giving me the idea to use the charms as my flower centers. If you like the layout of my card you can find the sketch for it here.

Before I go I would like to thank dear Mumur, Kirsten and Marcea for awarding me with the "One Sweet Blog" award. If you haven't visited these ladies blogs before pop on over.... you will not be disappointed!

I'm taking Danni along to visit the nursery this morning. Some of you may know that she starts on Monday everyday for half a day. Today will be ok as i'm staying with her but I know there will be lots of tears on Monday. My Mum will tell you that at the moment I can't talk about it without blubbing! I really must try and hold my emotions in for Danni's sake.

Have a great week!

Hugs,

I have some very exiting news to share in that Craft Stampers magazine have asked me to do a 2-3 page article so I probably won't be posting much over the next two weeks while I work on my projects. I'll share them with you as soon as I can though.

Hugs,

Tender Showers

This cute little hedgehog is a Penny Black Stamp called Tender Showers. There is nothing tender about our showers today as it is bucketing down! I cut the paper on my Cricut expression to get the frame shape then stamped after. I coloured him using my Prismacolour Pencils and blended with Sansador with the use of Paper Stumps. His watering can was coloured using a silver Sakura Metalic pen and the rain drops with my Sakura Stardust pen. The papers are by Papermania from the Retro Floral Collection and the Basic Grey Infuse Collection. The word Spring was cut from the George Cartridge on my Cricut.

Penny Black - Warm and Fuzzy

I just love the Penny Black Stamps. All the little characters are just so adorable. This stamp is called Warm and Fuzzy. I water coloured using my Marvy Markers. The Pinstripe backing Paper is by Heidi Grace Designs and the ribbon is K&Co. I used my Cropadile to set the eyelets.

Penny Black Missed You

My new Penny Black stamp arrived today. This cute little hedgehog stamp is called "Missed You". The paper I used is from the Basic Grey Infuse Collection. The ribbon was a freebie from a magazine. The borders and Brother were cut on my Cricut using George and Mickey's font. I used my Marvy pens and got a great tip in the week from SamG (UKS) who told me to colour them on an acrylic block and use them to watercolour. This worked a treat!

Marie Curie Card Campaign

I made this card using the Penny Black Stamp "Uplifting Occasion". It is for the Marie Curie Card Campaign.
