Introducing a Summer Nutshell!!

Sorry I have been missing for a few days ;-) I have been working on opening up my own craft store to move away from Etsy. It's nearly there and hopefully should be open after the weekend :-)

Anyways.. onto my card.... I have the delight in sharing a new design with you from the Nutshells Summer collection. This cute image is Hazel with flower and is released on 15th June at Nutcrafters. Today is the last day to enter the DT Call and also the candy at the Nutshells blog. I can't wait to hear who the 3 new designers will be!

Hazel has been coloured with Prismacolour pencils with sansodor and paper stumps for blending. The gorgeous papers were a gift from my friend Jill and are Basic Grey Perhaps. The Jute ribbon and roses can be found over in my Etsy store.

I can't believe it's nearly the weekend.. have a good one and see you Sunday for the next High Hopes challenge.

Oh yes and before I go my daughter Zoe and her friend Hannah's new Crafty Monkey's challenge starts real soon so be sure to check this out for your crafty kids later today!

Hugs

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Lace

For our challenge this week over A Spoon Full of Sugar we are asking you to use lace on your cards. If you do not have any lace you are welcome to use a lace effect punch. It is worth checking to see if your local market has a haberdashery stall. This is where I buy mine cheaply.

On my card today I have used the cute Nutshell image Hazel. She is coloured with a mix of copic sketch markers and prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps for blending. I have paper pieced her little dress. The gorgeous papers are from the Basic Grey Wisteria pad. I printed the sentiment from word direct onto my dp. My flowers are Prima Hydrangea. I added brads and spacers to my flower centres. I have these spacer beads for sale over in my Etsy Store.

Also for anyone who missed my post on Friday their is a DT Call over at the Nutshells blog. Be sure to check out the candy too!

Our sponsor this week is Stampavie. They have kindly given us the two below Leere Aldrich stamps for one lucky player. Not only that there will be a few surprise craft items in your package too! Thank you Michelle for arranging this fantastic prize!

Our wonderful guest this week is Sandra MacLean. Be sure to visit Sandra over at her blog to admire her card for our challenge - it's breathtaking!

Before I go I would like to thank the very talented Lena for the above cute award.

I also wanted to show you this picture of my cute kitties. After having Bella now for just over 5 weeks this is the first time they have cuddled together this closely and the first time Gemma has show Bella some love.

Be back soon with my DT card for our new Scrapmagasinet Reader challenge.

Hugs,

Hello Cupcake!

Introducing Hazel who is a new stamp design and exclusive to Nutcraters. Katie and Collete over at Nutcrafters are excited to have launched their own stamp range - The Nutshells Collection. They are real cute designs with nut inspired names - Hazel, Tash, Mac and Coco. I am lucky to have these gals to play with so over the next few weeks I will be showing you some of the other characters.

Hazel is coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps for blending. I have added a little blush and eyeshadow to my character. I added a little stickles sparkle to the frosting on her cake. The cupcake paper is from a Smirk paper pack which I pinched from Zoe's stash :-) he he.. I don't think she'll notice ;-) The rest of the papers are from the MME Magnolia stack. I used SU photo corner punch and the flower die is from the Cuttlebug two step scribble flower set. The cute little fimo button is from my friend Stephanie and I added a tiny little gem. My sentiment is computer generated using MS Word.

Isn't this little bear just adorable? I received this cute award from the very lovely Joy yesterday... sure made me smile! Thank you Joy! There wasn't any rules with this little guy so I would like to pass this on to all my followers as a thank you for your visits, sweet comments and support. Please do take him to pass on to your friends!

Hugs,
