Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge - In Stitches

Our new Wags 'n Whiskers challenge is underway and this week our fabulous guest Melanie is asking us for you to use either real or fake stitches somewhere on your card or paper project. I chose the fake option :-) I do love real stitching on cards but am not very confident with my machine... no time these days to practice. As you can see I chose a stitched ribbon and the buttons also have a stitching detail.

The cute image is from our newest release and is called Buddy's Balloon. Buddy has been coloured with copic markers with a little added prisma pencil to finish. The papers are a mixture of Bo Bunny and SEI Happy Day and Jocelyn. Had to pop on some flat back pearls also... no card is complete with out them! lol

My girls started their Summer holiday yesterday so lots of fun days planned, parties, friends to catch up with, a trip down to Cornwall to visit my Mum and a few films to watch at the cinema. We can't wait to see Toy Story.

Hope you can play along with us. Each challenge you have the chance to win a Wags 'n Whiskers stamp of your choice :-)

Hope your having a great weekend. Just about to watch Twilight New Moon as Zoe hasn't seen it before.

Hugs,

Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge - Summer Days

Our new challenge over at Bunny Zoe's Craft blog has just started and this month the lovely Mina is asking to see our Summer inspired creations. As soon as I see Mina's challenge I knew I had to have a little play and an attempt at another scrapbook page. I have such great memories of meeting my friend Lacey and her family in Florida this May that I wanted to put some of my favourite photo's together of our day at Deerfield Beach. I am sure this won't be the last as it would be fun to create a layout for our fun Disney days too!

I had to have one of these TGF Sunshine kits as soon as they arrived in store as I love Anya. There are so many great accesories and sentiments too. Anya is coloured with Copic Markers. The papers are Crate Paper - Paper Dolls. They are fantastic quality and come with a couple of sheets of die cuts too. Also lots of fabulous buttons, gems and flat back pearls to finish.

Lacey's adorable son Ryan. Both Ryan and Ansley loved posing for the camera unlike my two! And here are a few more pictures.....

Oh to be back in Florida now... better get saving for our next trip!

Ok.. back to the challenge.... We had so many fabulous entries for our first challenge... we hope you will come back and play with us again! The BZ's DT have some awesome samples to inspire you! These girls rock!

As before you have the chance to join us as a future guest and this month we have not one but two great prizes!

Have a great week,

Hugs

Wags 'n Whiskers Punch it and Digi Release

Our new challenge over at the Wags 'n Whisker blog is hosted by the wonderful Karen and is called Punch it! Add a punched or die cut element. I thought I would have another try at creating an LO. When I first saw the cute design Let's Go Team I knew she would go perfectly with these pictures of my girls larking around on their trampoline playing dress-up.

My punched elements are from Martha Stewart Doily Lace Trim and Classic Butterfly. The text are die cuts from the Crate Paper - Paper Dolls Collection. The papers are also Crate Paper - Brook. Couldn't help but add more colour with lots of co-ordinating buttons.

Today we also released the last two stamp releases into Digital Stamps! Now you can purchase Let's Play and Fun in the Sun in rubber and Digi format :-)

Hope you can play along with us. Don't forget that our DT call is still open and you can check out more details HERE.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sending Donkey Smiles

I created my card today for a special blogging friend to let her know I am thinking of her. On Wednesday evening, June 23, Michelle had an accident while tending her beloved donkeys which has left her blind in her right eye. She has shared the news of her accident in her blog post here (http://donkeysmiles.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-will-be-out-for-awhile-i-have-had.html). I cannot tell you how I felt when her husband emailed me to tell me the awful news last Sunday morning. Michelle you are so brave and have such amazing strength.

The sweet donkey image on my card is by artist Tina Wenke and with the help of Stampavie and our support we can send donations to help Michelle "kick" the mountain costs associated with her surgeries and also to help her obtain an artificial eye. For more details please go over to the Stampavie blog.

Also A Spoon Full of Sugar and Just Magnolia DT has joined together to support Michelle with a Card Drive. It would be amazing for her mailbox to be flooded with love and wishes from her friends around the world.

Two of Whimsy Stamps Artists Melissa Jenkins and Ann Vento have teamed up together to bring us a very special donkey image and matching sentiments that are all available to download for free from the Whimsy Store.

Our card drive will run for 3 weeks and finish on the 27th July at 8pm UK time.

Please visit us at A Spoon Full of Sugar for more details on sending some of your own Donkey Smiles. If you are looking for inspirations the two teams together have some beautiful samples to share with you.

Thank you to my friend Debbie for all the amazing work she has put into organizing this special card drive.

Hugs,

Totally Tilda Challenge - Chocolate... Yum!

I am so excited as today is the first challenge for the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog :-) Even more fun but I get to play along as their guest!

For all you Tilda fans be sure to pop on over to the blog and sign up as a follower so you don't miss out on the fun! The challenge is run by my friend Susie of Die Cut Dreams. The Totally Tilda Challenge is totally sponsored by Die Cut Dreams and Bunny Zoe's Crafts :-)

Their first challenge has just started and the theme is Chocolate. So lots of rich browns and creams. You can add a little splash of colour but your main colours should be chocolate.

The Prize: As it´s their first Challenge there will have 2 prizes this challenge..... so 2 lucky winners :-)

It has been way too long since I inked a Tilda and I had so much fun colouring this sweetie. This Tilda is from a Magnolia kit which I think was produced in 2008. My Tilda has been coloured with a mixture of Copic markers and prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps to blend. Just a little star dust on her wing and also some crystal effects on her bottle. This isn't being picked up in the photo very well but gives the bottle a lovely shiny glass effect. The paper is from the Basic Grey Paper Pad Nook and Pantry. So lots of chocolately accessories 8mm and 4mm Flat back pearls, various flowers and buttons, beigh lace and chocolate pins.

Be sure to pop on over to admire the talented design teams yummy creations! Go on... join in.... get inking up these cuties!

Hugs,

tildaclose
