I created my card for two challenges.... the first is our High Hopes challenge where this week Jeanne is asking us to use stars somewhere on our cards. Also our challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar where Debbie is asking you to use an animal image. She has a fun request too (which is optional) where she would like to see a card created by you and also by your child. Be sure to pop over to the blog to view all the children's fabulous cards... and of course the fantastic design teams too!
My card above is using the fun new High Hopes stamp Stunt Dragon by Artist Dustin Pike. My Stunt dragon has been stamped onto Concord Record card with Memento ink and coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor to blend. I added a little stickles to his spots, eyebrows and also around the edge of the star but this is hard to see in the picture. The papers are from the Basic Grey Pad Max and Whiskers. I created the sentiment myself in Photoshop and printed direct onto my cardstock.
So here is my 5 year old daughter Danni's card. Danni loves to colour and must colours tons of images every week. This is her first offical card :-) I cut the carstock, paper and trimmed her image but the rest was all Danni's handywork! She is so proud of her creation and can't wait to give this to Nanny. The images Danni chose are High Hopes Sweet Anabela and Gilbert. As you can also see like Mum... Danni loves colour! If you looking to play along with a challenge this week be sure to check out both High Hopes and A Spoon Full of Sugar :-)
